Storm Cloud It's a good idea to cast this on as many heroes--allied and enemy--as possible, but in most situations this is not feasible, as the skill is weak to start and gets stronger over time. Rather, you may wish to cast it on your team to initiate a team fight--this way, they go into battle nearly immune to physical damage. Alternatively, you may wish to Storm Cloud a group of enemy heroes on high ground if you have wards placed--if they're good, they'll avoid conflict, which allows you some time to beat on a tower.
If they're bad, they'll engage, and you'll win. Demented Shaman-Ophelia Sexy Combo If you, for some strange reason, go Demented Shaman bottom solo, or dual-lane bottom with a Ophelia jungle, this is a very strong combo. Ophelia should have two or three creeps. To start off, you should slow the target with Entangle. Ophelia should also slow with Nature's Wrath. She should then maneuver her creeps next to the target-this should be very easy with two slows stacked.
The creeps should then use their Q stomps, while you heal the creeps. This is a guaranteed kill, espcially if you have a lane mate who can use a third nuke. The Shaman entangles a target enemy unit in vines, slowing its Movement Speed for a short duration and very briefly stunning it.
The vines then tighten around the target unit, causing damage over time. The Shaman casts a poison wave that can bounce between multiple allied units, damaging nearby enemies. I've been in situations when I have g, and I would like to buy boots, but if you have no wards up, go and grab those wards.
You know why wards have cooldown? Cause it's best item in game, and boots won't beat wards, trust me. From all top tier items, hex will bring most utility to the game. Also as you are support there are many, many optional items which should be bough according to game pace. Hellflower, if you are lacking silence on some hardcasters, and you are having quite good money income from pushes or creep kills, go for Hellflower.
If you want to increase armor, or decrease it, and if enemy spreads out too much, you can go for Staff of the Masters. If you are doing bad with money and you think you will never afford Kuldra, go for Stormspirit. It's nice alternative, plus it gives you some survivability, if you are getting focused by nukers. Void stone is for times when carries take game over and you want to survive long enough to get some casts off.
Also best way to counter swiftblade or deadwood. Get tablet of command if you fight versus Kraken or Pharoah. Tablet is very underrated item. You can use it to force oppenets for bad initiation. To escape, pharoahs wall for example. Or my personal favorite, mess up Karkens ult by pushing him when he charges or blinks. Idol should be bough by some more money getting heroes, but in case opponenets have lot of magic damage, and you happen to be only one who has brains, go get idol barrier.
Team will be glad. You will waste so much potential. Most of the time you will go one of the side lanes, mostly with carries. If you are on Carry lane focus on harrasing opponenets, denying creeps and healing you and your lane parter.
Also don't steal last hits, as others will have more use of money than you. Just be careful with harrassing, and don't get stuck into creeps when they chase you after you attack hero. Don't be afraid to gank. Although you are hardcore support, your entangle rank 3 becomes quite strong snare. You can join ganks and do fairly well, so if you see moment where you can gank, go for it tiger!
Also put Arcane hide before you go in. That's it for your ganking power. Not much, but better than nothing. Team battles is the place you can shine, start with deciding if you want to use ult offensive or defensive and go for it. Then try to get entangle off someone whenver it's up. Aim for channelers, cause you can mess up their channels easly. Focus on healing your carry and other teammates, but if you see chance to deal massive heal damage to enemy don't miss it.
If you are in doubt, ask your team where they want them, or make someone else put up wards but buy them for them. If there are no wards up, it's your problem. Always make sure you have money to get wards. When you are on lane and have destroyed an enemy creep wave and see that your opponent is close to your creeps, go and Entangle him. When creeps surround him, use Healing Wave for some massive damage.
